Forward By Faith—Part 4

“By faith the people passed through the Red Sea as on dry land; but when the Egyptians tried to do so, they were drowned.” Heb. 11:29
1. REMEMBER THE OBJECTIVE FOR PROGRESS.
“So I have come down to rescue them from the hand of the
Egyptians and to bring them up out of that land into a good and
spacious land, a land flowing with milk and honey—the home of
the Canaanites, Hittites, Amorites, Perizzites, Hivites and
Jebusites.” Exodus 3:8
2. RELISH THE OBSERVATIONS OF PROGRESS.
“They gave Moses this account: ‘We went into the land
to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here
is its fruit. But…’” Numbers 13:27
3. REALIZE THE OBSTACLES TO PROGRESS.
“Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, ‘We
should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly
do it.’ But the men who had gone up with him said, ‘We can't
attack those people they are stronger than we are.”Num.13:30-31
Roadblock #1: Distraction. Num. 13:28
Roadblock #1: Discord. Num. 13:32a
Roadblock #2: Distortion. Num. 13:32b-33
Roadblock #3: Drama. Num. 14:1-3a

4. REINFORCE THE OBEDIENCE IN PROGRESS.

and Caleb son of Jephunneh survived.” Numbers 14:38
